Cold Porcelain Recipe

Hello Everybody, I  think the first post will need to be our Cold Porcelain Recipe.
There are many many different ones, but here is a couple of the most common ones:

1.
Recipe for Cold Porcelain
1/2 Cup Water
3/4 Cup Elmers glue (or any white non-toxic school glue)
1 tsp. Ponds Cold Cream
1 tsp. Glycerin
1 Cup Corn Starch

2.
1cup cornstarch
1 cup Elmer’s glue all
1tablespoon liquid Vaseline (you can find it in a drugstore /pharmacy)
1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice
1tablespoon cold cream

3.
1 cup craft glue (white glue like Elmer's Glue All)
1 cup cornstarch
1 tablespoon mineral oil (baby oil)
1 tablespoon lemon juice, or clove oil (these are natural preservative that help prevent mold, optional but recommended)

4.
Ingredients;
2 Tablespoons Baby Oil.
1 Teaspoon Eucalyptus Oil.
½ teaspoon citric acid. (Preservative – prevents moulding)
(You can also use Sodium Benzoate)
1 Cup Corn flour.
1 Cup PVA Glue. (Available from some Emporiums.) School Grade PVA is fine.
Cold cream for working on the board after cooking.

Directions:
1. Combine ingredients in pot.
2. Cook on low heat stirring constantly for 10 minutes or until dough forms and begins to come away from the sides.
3. Remove from heat and allow to cool until you can handle it.
4. Knead to a smooth clay consistency.
5. Store wrapped in plastic. ( saran wrap or plastic bag)

Dries in about 24 hours, expect 20-30% shrinkage.
